Heidi Helen is a freelance designer and newly shipped app developer. 

With Illuminated Bits, she took a large lead in many of the design decisions, but knew that the apps she worked hard to make, were not hers but those of her employer. 

Now she's launched an app of her own. I sat down with Heidi to discover how releasing her app was different than helping release someone elses.
