At long last I learn want all this stuff about Balewards was about. A lineage of Badass Wizards that kept the wood in check. Two hundred years ago the wood struck back but now it is time to reclaim their castle. But the monster that drove them out the first time is still there whilst forces outside the wood want to stop me too. 

I also learn some how about the mysterious statue.
