Helen Duncan was one of the last people to be convicted under the witchcraft act in the 1940s. A notorious clairvoyant and spiritual medium Helen was said to be able to manifest ghosts and speak to the dead. Her ability to create ectoplasm is still a great debate amongst skeptics and followers alike. Helen not only gave information she seemingly could not know but also accidentally divulged state secrets in a seance that caught the attention of the British government. Episode 14 of Curious Characters seeks to give a little more clarity on this spooky individual.
