In today’s live broadcast, Joseph Z explains why hell is not a sufficient punishment for the devil’s violation of God’s holiness.  He instructs that although God desires all people to be saved, He operates according to legalities, rules, and His Word. Joseph references Matthew 25:41 to emphasize that hell was created primarily as a place for the devil and his angels. Therefore, anyone who chooses to believe in the devil instead of God and does not accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior will share in the devil’s punishment.

Joseph elaborates on the reason behind the creation of hell, reminding us that a system of rules and laws governs the universe. The devil's violation of these rules led to a direct offense against God's holiness, which in turn resulted in the establishment of hell as a punishment for the devil and his angels. He explains that God’s perfection and holiness are such that no one else could judge this matter, necessitating the creation of hell as a response to the offense. Furthermore, hell will continue to burn because it is not enough to compensate for the sin committed against God.

Joseph also points out that the devil's actions were so severe that only God could remedy them. This is why Jesus, the Son of God, came to win humanity back to God Almighty and destroy the works of the devil. Therefore, anyone who accepts Jesus will be saved from the punishment of hell. Joseph reassures us of Christ’s love for us, and all that is required is to welcome Him into our hearts and acknowledge Him as our Lord and Savior.
