Jimmy from Comics Quirks with Jimmy YT join award-winning comic editor Joe Corallo and Wes for this weeks Hellboy comic book retrospective. HELLBOY: THE ISLAND is an interesting 2-part comic story from series creator Mike Mignola. Separated by a couple years the second issue arrived after the first HELLBOY film. Mignola set out to ensure Hellboy readers he was bot changing the character or series to placate fans of the film. What he created is a very moody, introspect look into the character and expand the series lore. Jim, Joe and Wes take a deep-dive into one of the most cryptic Hellboy comic stories of all-times.
