This week, Zach and Mike dive into one of Marvel’s strangest horror stories, "Hellcow!" from Giant-Size Man-Thing Issue 5 (1975, Marvel Comics). Written by Steve Gerber with art by Frank Brunner, this bizarre tale follows Howard as he faces off against a 300-year-old vampire cow named Bessie… a creature created when Dracula got thirsty and no humans would let him in.

Along the way, we talk swamp monsters, wet superheroes, Steve Gerber’s battle with Marvel, and how Hellcow somehow survived to later team up with Deadpool. It’s absurd, educational, and the perfect way to kick off October on Bros, Foes, and Heroes.
