This week, I’m chatting with the CEO of Archive Sunday and Miss Utah 2021, Sasha Sloan!  Sasha and I talk about how she’s embracing her role as a complex, multi-dimensional woman through her company, her title, and her service work.

Sasha tells me about the feminist impact of the Miss America competition and how it’s shifting to include diversity and intersectionality.  She also touches on her work with refugees and what narratives she hopes to correct with her social impact initiative.

In this episode, join me as I interview the queen of true crime TikTok, Haley Toumaian aka @RobandHaley!  Haley gained traction on TikTok during her coverage of the unsolved case of Gabby Petito and has since dedicated her platform to being a “voice for the voiceless.”

Haley and I talk about her true crime “origin story,” the case that got her into true crime, and how her views of the genre have shifted since she became a content creator.

Haley also discusses why she’s passionate about using social media as a tool to bring justice to unsolved cases.  We break down where the line is between education and entertainment and how you can ethically get involved with true crime.
