Also, in the first hour, UH political science professor and co-host of HPM’s Party Politics, Brandon Rottinghaus discusses everything that passed in the Texas Legislature. We also hear from Houston Running Company co-founder Randi Schooley who explains how the event has grown to host over 30 events annually.

Then, in the second hour, Sean Palmer, teaching pastor at Ecclesia Houston explains more about Good Friday, Easter and some of the oldest traditions that are still observed today. Plus, we tell you all the great things happening this weekend in the city with our regular Friday feature, “Last Minute Plans.”
