On today’s Hello Houston, Ernie, Frank, and Celeste discuss today's top stories at the top of each hour, including Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo announcing that she will not seek reelection for a third term, a new state committee to study the political temperature and situation on college campuses, and more.

Also, in the first hour, our hosts talk with Harris County Attorney Christian Menefee, who breaks down deed fraud and what's being done to prevent it in the county. Then, Resident Acting Company member Chris Hutchison joins us to discuss Alley Theatre’s upcoming production of The Da Vinci Code, which is also his 100th show with the company.

In the show’s second hour, we’re joined by former U.S. Ambassador to Russia John Sullivan, who served in Moscow during some of the most turbulent moments in recent U.S.-Russia relations. Sullivan shares his experiences during those times, what they taught him about diplomacy, and tells us about his memoir titled Midnight in Moscow.

Plus, we hear from actress Ann Morrison, who plays Kimberly in the National Tour of the Tony-winning Broadway musical Kimberly Akimbo, which runs through September 21st at the Hobby Center.
