• Poland is to proceed with the deployment of German Patriot air defence systems in the country after Berlin’s refusal to instead deploy them in Ukraine

• Poland is to purchase an additional 116 main battle tanks from the U.S. as part of its military modernisation while the army also receives its first consignment of tanks from South Korea, and
