Lately there has been some controversy surrounding people choosing to standby and record video in emergency situations instead of actually helping someone out that may be in need of help.
With the majority of people having cameras in their pockets or purses, it is easy for everyone to be an amateur cameraman while in public.
If you are placed in the situation in which you one of the first people who can help, call 911 then put your phone away and help if you can until emergency response personnel arrives on the scene. Put yourselves in the shoes of the person in need and simply do the right thing.
