Shermonicia Slaughter is an Advocate for Domestic Violence and Mental Health. She has her master’s degree in Criminal Justice, and she is a mother of 3 children.

She is a 11-year survivor of Domestic Violence with a mission to Advocate for women and men who are surviors, her life goal is to teach women/men that there is life after Domestic Abuse. Shermonicia is the proud founder of the Non-Profit Organization “Help Me, Help You” She helps women receive counseling, jobs, house placement and she gives them the tools they need to move forward, show them how to better love themselves and equipped the women to never go back to any form of abuse.   Shermonicia motto for her non-Profit is…… Don’t be afraid to leave, be afraid to stay.
