What happens if your teen thinks he’s mature, but you know he’s not?

It’s not uncommon to find teenagers who believe they’re ready to handle adult-sized issues, but in reality, they’ve still got a lot of adolescence in front of them! If you’ve got that kind of teen on your hands—one whose ego is larger than life—take a few steps to help him grow up.

First, don’t shame your teen for his immaturity. He’ll grow out of it.

Second, don’t nag him about every little thing he does wrong. That’ll just backfire on you.

And third, create a plan for handing over responsibility to your teen.
