#91: In the last episode, we talked about motivational gifts and marriage, and this week it only seems natural to talk about motivational gifts and children because after all, God places our gifts in us at the time of conception.

Now again, you might be tempted to pass on this episode if you don’t have children and I understand, because I don’t have any living on this earth. However, over the years God’s given me the privilege of watching the children around me grow up and seeing how their gifts take shape long before they ever take a quiz or know the language for it.

So whether you’re a parent, grandparent, teacher, aunt, or uncle every child you encounter is carrying a piece of God’s design. And when you can recognize it early, you have the chance to call it out and nurture it.

Heavenly Position System Challenge:

For this week’s Heavenly Position System Challenge, ask the Holy Spirit to highlight one child in your life maybe your own, maybe a niece, a student, or a child at church.

Then pray: “Lord, show me how You’ve uniquely wired this child. Help me see what You see, and teach me how to nurture that gift.”

Once you’ve prayed, write down whatever comes to mind.What lights them up? What frustrates them? Where do you see grace flowing easily through them?

Then take one small, intentional step to affirm it this week. Maybe it’s a word of encouragement, a note, or simply slowing down to listen.
