ā“ Not having the right timing: Ask yourself if this is the right time to talk to an investor and that is very well aligned with the 2nd point below.
ā“ Not having the right metrics/ narrative in place: If you have a clear narrative of how are you going to grow and have got a bold vision/ metrics to support your narrative, then all investors would love to book in a meeting with you.
šŸ‘‰ Hence there needs to be a thought process by the CEOs and founders to focus on generating an inbound interest from investors. There should be a fear of missing out in investing in your company. You will then become a rockstar for them and they will do whatever is required to talk to you through any introduction or referral.
