Sherry McClure, Executive Director of Merge Memphis tells the incredible story behind Clare’s House to help combat the growing issue of homeless women on Memphis streets. Merge Memphis got its non-profit status in 2015 when husband Keith and Sherry McClure, then both full-time nurses, were led by their strong passion to help women who want a life out of being homeless. Clare’s House cares for up to 30 residents, providing Life Skills classes, self Help, and relational classes. There’s also help with resume writing, employment search, financial planning, and Bible studies.
