Mary Tiefenbrunn, Director of the Champaign County Humane Society, gives advice on how to help your pet transition into your busy pace of life. Many acquired pets during this time of quarantining and working from home, but now they are heading back to work and will be gone for longer periods of time. Some pets, especially dogs, can have a real problem with being alone and left behind, and this can create significant issues for the owners. Mary gives great advice about how to help your pet transition, so that he or she doesn't develop a strong anxiety, which can cause many problems and can be very difficult to correct.
