Henry Cavill was born and raised on the Island of Jersey in the U.K. He attended prep schools throughout his youth but was constantly teased for his homesickness and believe it or not, his weight issues. Acting began to interest him in his teen years, performing in school productions and at eighteen he landed decided to stray from the family tradition to go on to become an actor – the dude auditioned for a ton of big roles but was often over looked.
