In this episode of Getting Rich After Divorce, we talk about Burnout and how to recognize, prevent, and manage it so that you can build your business
Burnout is a state of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion that results from prolonged or chronic stress, particularly related to work or caregiving. As a divorced woman, you are at a high risk for burnout anyway, but as a divorced woman running your own business, you are definitely going to be learning how to take care of yourself better than you ever have before so that Burnout does not prevent you from building your business and your life the way you want it to be.
Physical symptoms of burnout to notice ASAP:
FatigueListlessnessHeadachesGastrointestinal issuesHigh blood pressurePoor immune function (getting sick more often)Sleep issuesReduced libidoMental/Emotional symptoms to notice:
Less confident than you used to be
Loss of interest in work that you previously enjoyed

If you do feel you have some burnout symptoms, the key to healing is understanding you are at risk and learning as much as you can about how to get through it, while keeping your business going.
Too often, women will feel at the mercy of these symptoms and make the symptoms mean that they are not equipped to build a business “at this time” or at all. However, you can still go after your dreams while learning to spot and drop burnout.
This is why we built an anti-burnout plan into our business membership lesson plan. It is vital for divorced women to learn about burnout and learn to keep it at bay while they build their businesses.

Getting Rich After Divorce (a.k.a Build a Business) is about how divorced women can build their own wealth by leaving the patriarchal corporate space to create their own revenue streams (no glass ceiling!) by owning a business and doing something that feels authentic and enjoyable overall.
Hosted by two divorced women - Lee and Mimi - who decided the best way to get rich was to embrace their entrepreneurial spirits and build their own businesses, Getting Rich After Divorce will explore the practical ways that divorced women can build a successful and enjoyable business as well as why divorced women need a podcast devoted solely to them.
A divorced woman who is motivated to build a business needs women who understand her and support her, given the big pile of cards stacked against her from the get-go.
Join us each week to learn about why you deserve (and need) a specific kind of knowledge and support as a divorced woman AND how you can put the odds of success in your favor as you increase revenue in your business.
