I had this amazing teacher once that begged the question, “I’m wondering why some of you don’t share with the class what you write in your papers…” His eyes fell intently on me as I pulled back into my chair. So many thoughts and feelings swirl in my mind, take root in my heart, having the courage to share them outloud was beyond my reach…until now.

Thank you Mr. Hood for being the one true constant when I needed it most.
