You’ve seen them on social media, people sharing memes and links to “natural health” and “green living” websites, with claims of simple plants having amazing healing properties. Does coconut oil cure Alzheimer’s? Can cayenne stop bleeding? Will an onion in a sock kill the flu?

Thanks to the internet, it is easier than ever to get information on herbs and herbal remedies. That doesn’t necessarily mean that the information is going to be accurate.
