On today’s episode of Rush the Bus we speak with Charles “Herbie” Herbert. Herbie started his EMS career in Brooklyn, NY, volunteering for Bensonhurst EMS. From there his family moved to Pennsylvania where he continued his career as an EMT, ultimately becoming a paramedic. He spent nearly two decades working an ambulance before moving on to the MTA (Metropolitan Transportation Authority) where he still works today as a supervisor.
