He@rd

Norwood has been awarded a $52 million BEST Grant — but the money only comes if voters approve an $8 million bond this November. In this episode of He@rd, Amanda Pierce joins us to explain what the bond means for taxpayers, why the grant is a once-in-a-generation opportunity, and what happens if the vote fails.

We cover the real costs, the risks of losing local control, and how a new PK–12 school could serve as the heart of Norwood for decades to come.

🎙 He@rd: The Art of Serendipity 🎙

(Full Video Available on YouTube! @HeardFromPodcast)

🌿✨ Ice cream trucks, AI vs. human-made art, and a magical retreat that might just be the creative world's best-kept secret? Yep, we’re covering it all in this special on-the-road edition of He@rd!

This week, we crash the serene world of Willowtail Springs to chat with Sarah, an ice cream mogul-turned-artist, and Dan, a passionate advocate for keeping this artistic haven alive.

🎨 Sarah’s Journey: From slinging ice cream to painting for 10 hours a day, she’s manifesting an art residency like a boss. Oh, and her dad is rocking a jean jacket with her worst high school painting on it. Classic dad move.

🏡 Willowtail’s Legacy: Dan gives us the inside scoop (no, not ice cream this time) on why this place must be protected. Spoiler alert: It involves decades of love, creativity, and maybe a few unexpected plot twists.

🤖💀 AI vs. Humans: With AI-generated art flooding the scene, Sarah breaks down why human-made creativity is about to become the next big flex.

💡 Why You Should Listen: If you love art, believe in the magic of serendipity, or just enjoy good stories (and possibly need a new retreat to escape to), this one’s for you.
