Tripoli, the capitol city of Libya, was once one of the most modern cities in North Africa.  These days it a ruinous battleground as 2 governments fight for control of the country. The UN backed government runs Tripoli and little else.  The rebels led by Field Marshall Khalifa Haftar have backers in Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.  Adding to the pain and confusion, at one time or another, President Trump has backed both sides.
