"Here’s a guy who sees a problem and sets out to fix it…and it kills him.”  That’s the story of US Navy LT Wesley Van Dorn as tersely summed up by a member of his flight squadron at the Norfolk Naval Air Station.

The title of Zachary Stauffer’s documentary asks the question: Who Killed Lt. Van Dorn?  Meaning who let the problem -- the H 53 helicopters, the Marines’ Super Stallions and the Navy’s Sea Dragons, kill more American service people than any other American weapon.  None of the victims died in combat.
