The US Supreme Court has ruled people who commit crimes as juveniles should not be sentenced to death or life without patrol. But what about people convicted and sentenced years before the High Court's decision?  Should they be eligible for release on parole?  Sharon Cohen led a national investigative team for the Associated Press (AP) and found the answer to that question can vary widely, and cruelly from state to state.  So far, at least, very few of these one-time juvenile criminals has been paroled.
