Welcome to Lawrence's Cryptic English podcast!

Today I would like to talk again about introducing myself. As I have said many times, I would appreciate your understanding that this podcast is about me being able to speak what I want to speak in English.

So let's get started!

Hello. My name is Lawrence. I was born in Japan and grew up in Tokyo. I work in the information systems department and accounting, focusing on computer lease contracts and outsourced maintenance services.

On the side, I write a weekly email newsletter and do a daily podcast.

In this podcast, I would like to introduce the contents of my newsletter and podcast.

First. The name of the newsletter is "Web3 Topics Newsletter," and it is a collection of Web3 topics and commentary on topics of interest to me every Wednesday morning at 6:00 am. You can subscribe for free. Some of the topics I have introduced so far are "Ethereum 2.0" and "Zero Knowledge Proof". I currently have about 50 subscribers, but my current goal is to increase that number to 1,000 by the end of the year.

The purpose of starting this newsletter is because I wanted to change my career to a job related to Web3. My current job does not have any work related to Web3 and does not allow me to gain expertise. So, after thinking about what I could do myself while gaining expertise, I decided that the best way to do this was to send out information via text. I tried YouTube before but it did not work. I would like to try my best to increase the number of people who are excited about Web3 and technology by explaining many Web3 topics in an easy-to-understand way.

Second. I would like to introduce podcasts. The name of my daily podcast is called "Startup Crypto Channel. This one is basically the same area of information dissemination as the newsletter. I explain news and other information so that you can learn about crypto by ear. I also send out podcasts about what I am thinking, what I am struggling with, and what I am still in the process of thinking about. I don't know if this information is beneficial to the audience, but it helps me to organize my thoughts. I also like the fact that I can send out information easily. The number of times I have broadcasted has now exceeded 420 times. I would like to continue to deliver this information with the aim of reaching 1,000 times.
