The teaching against His Word in Thyatira was evil, but God gave the false teacher Jezebel plenty of time to repent of her sins, but she never did. And rather than showing her that her teaching was wrong, God's church tolerated it and let it happen. You need to protect your heart from anything contrary to God's Word, and keep yourself pure in Him.
