IN THIS EPISODE: "Here O'er the Earth as a Stranger I Roam" by C. W. Ainsworth (1817-1851)
Many years ago there lived a coal miner in Staffordshire, England. He and his wife had a dear little girl, the last of their five children. This daughter was the light of the coal miner’s eyes. Each night, after traipsing from the pit, she would meet him at the door of their little cottage and welcome him home.
