If you help the poor, you are lending to the LORD—and he will repay you!

What’s up family — I’m out here today downtown Dallas at the No Kings Protest, and man… the energy is electric ⚡ People out here standing up for what they believe in — voices raised, hearts full, and signs all over the place.

✊🏽 This sign right here — I’ll let you read that one. 💬 That one says: “Would Jesus deport?” ❤️ And this one: “Love your members.” 🗳️ “Every vote counts.” 💪🏾 “We’re Stronger together.” I love that. I love all of it.

But honestly… let me tell you this — I didn’t come out here for selfies 📸 or to chase clout 💨 or just to show you signs.

I came out here to lend — to lend my presence, my prayers, and my voice 🎤 for those who don’t always get heard. Not to leverage for myself.

💡 Proverbs 19:17 says:

“If you help the poor, you are lending to the Lord, and He will repay you.”

That’s a beautiful promise 💎 When you show up for others, God takes note. He sees every unseen act of compassion, every time you step out — not for gain, but to give.

🔥 So this protest isn’t just about denying someone who wants to sit on a throne 👑 It’s about who’s willing to reach down to the down-and-out and serve.

Because real power doesn’t hoard — real power lends. And remember:

“The measure of power isn’t how you wield it — it’s how you give it away.” 💭

🎤 Remember:

“When you show up, you lend to God — not to leverage for yourself. You become the voice somebody needs, not the noise somebody ignores.” 🎯

Prayer

Lord, help me show up for others, not for myself.

Today’s Challenge

Find one person — maybe in your circle, maybe in another city, maybe online — who doesn’t have the same platform or privilege you have. 🎧 Listen. 🤝 Support. 🗣️ Speak up. Because when you lend love to the least, you’re lending grace to the Lord. 💖
