La Amazonía, fuente de vida biológica y cultural, así como la mujer indígena que se mantiene en pie para velar por la vida de los suyos, con ternura y amor, en comunión con la naturaleza. Amazonas es nombre de mujer, e infinitos otros nombres llevan las mujeres que crean vida en este territorio de misterios, ancestralidad y comunidad.
La vida que se manifiesta en sus cantos, en sus danzas, en sus mitos y tradiciones orales, en su medicina pervive al paso del tiempo y las injusticias del mundo, manteniendo firme su sentido de unidad.

Source of biological and cultural life, just like the indigenous women, the Amazon stands to watch over the lives of its own, with tenderness and love, in communion with nature. “Amazon” is a woman's name, and infinite are the other names for the women who create life in this territory of mysteries, ancestry and community. The life that is manifested in their songs, in their dances, in their myths, oral traditions, and in their medicine, survives the change of times and the injustices of the world, maintaining its sense of unity intact.
