Hey there, Rewt here from HearthCast.com bringing you another quick installment of our "Gimme A Minute" segments here on HearthCast.comThere are two tricks I like to use in the auction house on a routine basis. Both involve "short-stacks", or a number of an item that's not a full stack - like 20.The first trick involves a little math - but it's easy.If you see a number of "short-stack" items that total to be a full stack, add up their buyout prices. If the total of the "short-stacks" is less than the price of a full stack (including AH fees), then buy them, make a stack, and relist them immediately. Instant profit for just doing a little math! The second trick also involves a little math. There's a time and place when it's best for you to "short-stack" on purpose, and make some extra gold in the process. For example, if a stack of 20 goblin doohikies sells for 10 gold, make two stacks - 8 and 12, or 10/10... then list each stack for an amount that will add up to more than 10 gold - like 5 and 7 gold, or 6 and 6. The big secret to making gold by "short-stacking" is knowing WHEN to do it. That's a secret I'll share for another day.Hey, thanks for listening, and don't forget to check Freckleface and myself out on Tuesday for our full length podcast. Until next time, this has been Rewt from HearthCast.com - see ya!
