Brian and Mel may soon part company, as Mel comes up
to her 6th month of pregnancy, and goes on light duty.
We find a patient in the "tripod" position, having trouble
breathing, and the monitor shows, weak QRS complexes
with an erratic rhythm, and after given some oral Nitro,
refuses to go to the Hospital.
Welcome to the Life of a Paramedic.
And, then there is the "FAN", aka "The Stalker", we all have
had them, I sure have had my share.
It starts out nice and innocent, then.......
The Trauma Bunny gets serious.
VERY SERIOUS.......
Favorite Series, Hands Down!
I love the Trauma Junkie series! The writing has a very real feel to it and I really connected with all of the characters. I get completely sucked in when I read these books, it feels like it takes me minutes to read them but then when I look at the clock I realize that it's actually been like 4 hours and I've managed to block out all the real life stuff going on around me! I've never put a single one down while reading, I always make sure I have enough time to read the entire thing in one sitting. My only complaint, that's not even a real complaint, is that I think I may have had a small panic attack at the end of #5, I'm pretty sure I was hyperventilating and I can't wait for #6 to be released! Keep up the excellent work Tom, you are definitely one of my favorite authors!

Oh my God. Each book is better than the last. I read all 5 books in less than a week. Just carried my Kindle everywhere and read every spare moment. I never expected the cliff hanger ending on this one and I am so eager for # 6. Very believable and the characters are very well drawn. I feel like I know them all. If you like medical fiction , real life drama and some great humor this series should not be missed.
A cliffhanger?! NOOOO!
Why are you doing this to your fans?! Book 5 of the Trauma Junkie series definitely stands up to its predecessors. As if having a great plot and lovable characters wouldn't keep you coming back for more, Tom Hobbs ends book 5 with a gripping cliffhanger that will ensure sales for his next book. I can only hope that book 6 will be on sale soon. Please hurry, Tom!
A quick but fun read
(3.7 stars) This author has an easy to read style, and as a paramedic myself, I can really appreciate the main character's attitude (and mouth)...in some ways, he gets away with saying some things that many of us have been tempted to say on many occassions.
