After sacrificing himself to save an innocent, Dusten Dunn was granted a second chance at life and granted mystical powers to fight the darkness as Dust, the Wierd Explorer who Eliminates Occult Threats. 

Previously, after while searching for Angelique, Dust discovered that the mysterious man he encountered previously was a master vampire. After losing to him during a fight, he was rescued by men in the employ of Madame Delphine, who was also searching for Angelique. Putting their differences aside, the enemies decided to work together to rescue her.
