After sacrificing himself to save an innocent, Dusten Dunn was granted a second chance at life and granted mystical powers to fight the darkness as Dust, the Wierd Explorer who Eliminates Occult Threats. 

Previously, while investigating the mysterious Mr Tomorrow, Dust decided to go to the villainous Madame Delphine to see what she knows. The crime lord teased him with information, but only on the condition that he help facilitate a deal she had set for that evening.
