After sacrificing himself to save an innocent, Dusten Dunn was granted a second chance at life and granted mystical powers to fight the darkness as Dust, the Wierd Explorer who Eliminates Occult Threats. 

Previously, hoping to get information from Madame Delphine, Dust helped her make an exchange with a mysterious figure for a strange box. After delivering it to the crime boss, she informed him that the strange materials Angelique found were not truly magic after all. Trailing the figure to a hotel near the waterfront, Dust was left with a warning echoing the words of Mr Tomorrow.
