By day, Rudy Solomon is known as a special effects wizard. By night, he practices an entirely different type of magic.

He is: Mirage.

Previously, Mirage was drawn in when a series of murders seemed to share a demonic connection. After reaching out to a former mentor in San Francisco, Rudy was confronted outside of his apartment by Detective Johnston. Sensing something was wrong, a fight broke out. The more experienced detective subdued and handcuffed Rudy. After a failed escape atempt, he awoke to find himself sprawled out on the altar of the church where he first learned of the demonic forces at play...
