Zach Bardon was just an ordinary student, until he found a special amulet that granted him the powers of the night. Now, he protects his city. He is: Nightshade.

Previously, Zach was interrogated by a member of the Joint Task Force who gave him an ultimatum. Later, while on patrol, he stopped a mugging, only to be confronted by one of the people who had been following him.
