Once, he was just a sailor earning his livelihood from the ocean’s bounty, but after a century and a half frozen in Antarctic ice, he’s emerged with strange new powers to protect the high seas. He is: The Whaler.

Previously, The Whaler had been invited along on an expedition with JTF leader Arick Lightner and an international team aboard a US Navy vessel to investigate the disappearance of several ships in the South China Sea. Tensions on board ran high, however, after he barged in on a leadership meeting while wandering the ship looking for Arick.
