Tark'An is a former soldier who turned her back on her people to seek her own fortune in the wider galaxy. Meris is a thrill-seeking former void racer who now carves her own road through the starways. Together, they are: Vixens of the Void.

Last time, Tark'An and Meris discovered that the Sapient Confederation had given Sassy, their ships artificial intelligence system, a nano-machine body before departing to find work on their own while awaiting the Confederation to give them instructions.
