Addiction brings about an identity crisis. In order to stand sober and clean we have to quit trying to fit in. Your identity is you, flawed and real. That is your superpower to own your damn life.

There is no easy way from the earth to the stars. Higher realities and their achievements come with a cost. So a majority of those in addiction and recovery forego the conflict of self sacrafice and self-reliance and surrender to the comfort of loss and suffering.

The shadow of addictions lurks in darkness with lying perceptions. The idea is to quit being preoccupied with these false narratives.

Imagine a life of fulfillment, a life of sobriety and direction. Addicts seek pleasure and hate sacrifice, but in order to grow and maintain growth it requires sacrifice.
