Being a Christian is more about service than self. The teachings of Jesus Christ remind us that he is the example to follow.

Mark 10: 35-41  encompasses a way of life characterized by humility, love, and service to God and for others.

Manifestations of Servanthood:

• Within the Church: Serving within the church community can involve various roles, such as leading worship,teaching, mentoring, organizing outreach programs, or simply offering practical support to fellow believers.
• In the Community: Christians are called to extend their service beyond the church walls, reaching out to their neighbors and communities through acts of charity, social justice initiatives, and simply living out their faith with integrity and kindness.
• In Daily Life: Servanthood can be expressed in everyday interactions, showing kindness and compassion to others, even in small ways. Offering a helping hand, listening with empathy, or sharing blessings with those in need are all ways to live out a life of service.

The battle is not in the big choices, but in the small decisions we make every day. What we do day by day, gets us to our future both good and bad.

Guilt usually leads to despair when we are inconsistent with our words and actions. The better is always found in the mercy of God when we are authentic with Him and those around us.

Remember that you are valuable and of service to others. There is grace to "Walk New and Live Risen" in Jesus Christ.

Heritage is something received from the past to preserve and pass on to future generations. Heritage is not limited to places or things but also includes values and spirituality.

Our Christian heritage must be founded on the Chief Corner Stone: Jesus Christ. Our heritage in Him is grounded and built upon faith.

It is vital to explore, educate, and empower yourself through reading. Education is a powerful tool for change within a community and a country. Books are a key resource in any library, which can help facilitate that change.

Everyone must inspect what they own- the car, home, physical body, and even the soul. Things can get overwhelming, but a simple inspection can be an easy remedy, but at other times- it will take work and help.  

The biggest asset and detriment is the mind. Continual negative thoughts will lead to disappointment, discouragement, and frustration. Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but the inverse is also true. Hope in the heart makes you well. You are never alone and never without help.
