Anyone who uses e-mail to any extent and has a boatload of friends will usually have at least one person that will flood their inbox with the silliest junk one can imagine every day. I have such a friend and approximately a year ago I admonished him to quit sending me so much junk e-mail. I told him I had important work to do and I didn't have time to go through all this junk daily. He was deeply offended and got very angry.
