Jesus stands at the door of our hearts, knocking to come in and dine with us. Through the stories of Martha and Mary and the Samaritan woman, we learn that Jesus' favorite meal isn't physical food but our attentive listening, heart transformation, and obedient response to His teaching. When we open our hearts to Him, we must 'set the table' by giving Him our full attention, allowing His words to transform us, responding with obedience, and sharing His message with others. The invitation is clear - Jesus wants intimate fellowship with us now, but we must prepare what He truly desires.
