For many of us, grief is associated with death—but what if it's so much more than that?
In this episode of Hey Fave!, we're having an honest conversation about the different forms of grief that often go unnoticed. We discuss grieving relationships with people who are still alive, processing life's disappointments, and mourning the version of yourself you thought you'd become.
Inspired by a thought from comedian Tacarra Williams, we explore whether millennials were sold an outdated blueprint for success. What happens when you do everything "right"—go to school, work hard, follow the rules—and life still doesn't look the way you imagined? Has social media made it even harder to let go of the life you thought you'd have?
We also talk about whether grief has a timeline, if there's a "right" way to grieve, and how it's possible to hold both grief and joy at the same time.
Most importantly, we end with hope—reflecting on how some of life's greatest blessings can come from seasons we never would've chosen.
