Jude teaches us that we will defend with all our might what is most precious to us.  How do we, "contend for the faith that's been entrusted to us?" Jude gives us 3 specific challenges: 
1) Reject falsehood and immorality.
2) Remember God's rescue AND His wrath.
3) Remember the warnings of the apostles.
