Theme: The conversion of Saul to Paul was a pivotal turning point in the life of the early church. Given his previous history, it was not surprising that their initial reaction to his conversion was one of skepticism and suspicion. It took a vision from Jesus to a disciple in Damascus called Ananias, to help the church to accept and affirm Paul's calling.
