Sad but inspiring story
Connor's story is so inspiring. I found myself in tears as I read this book. This tragedy joined these two families forever and demonstrated that with God and love we can overcome tragedies in our lives. Connor's short life and death were not in vain, his death taught his family and community that love and compassion are needed by all. I admire Nana for having the courage to tell this story. I truly hope Jamarion and his family receive the same love and compassion that they deserve, for we are all God's children and have all fallen short. Peace always!
I remember this case
If I am correct, this trial was shown on CourtTV. This poor, sweet child, did not deserve to be butchered, by a savage. Only 3 blocks separated them, but had lives totally different. Toni must want to be a saint, as if someone did that to my grandchild, my reaction would be different.
Love is bigger than hate
What the world needs is more books reminding us that Love can move mountains. This book shows that even as a tragedy overwhelms you, GOD doesn't ever leave your side. I wasn't expecting the overall feelings that occurred when I read this book.

Heart wrenching true story of an adorable boy named Conner! His death caused so much grief but out of it all came forgiveness! Must read! Tearjerker!
