Phil Fersht, HFS CEO and Chief Analyst made some waves in New York City on May 16 with a groundbreaking opening keynote describing the Hot Pursuit of the Generative Enterprise.

Phil shared new HFS Pulse Data from 600 enterprise leaders across the Global 2000 that explored the immediate needs of enterprise leaders and the emerging impact of ChatGPT and Generative AI. Fersht coined the term The Generative Enterprise, which describes the accelerated impending S-Curve of change that is likely to be the most significant enterprise disruptor since the advent of offshoring and globalization 20 years ago.

In advance of his keynote, Phil said, “The capabilities and potential of GPT-4.0 and beyond are headed in one highly-disruptive direction…many jobs will be replaced, many will be significantly augmented, and the whole nature of getting work done will go through a seismic revolution, provided governments do not step in and attempt to regulate this explosion of technology.”
