At the Intersection with Doug Newton

HGTV and the Relentless How

Listen Later

It’s hard to measure how much disabling effect our “user-friendly” culture has had on the average person who struggles to find the patience and persistence needed to solve complex problems. But the evidence of that effect is all around us every day. When people get used to “Quick Start” guides and “easy-to-follow” IKEA-like assembly instructions, they eventually suffer a lack of problem solving skills. In Episode 8 (Wednesday, noon CST) I’ll show you how that can become a good thing for anyone who wants to have fresh impact on their corner of the world.

During the podcast Doug mentioned three items to check out. Here are the links:

  • The Crosswalk  guide for Episode 8 to help you practice the "relentless how" Golden Rule. https://fresh-impact.com/crosswalk-episode8
  • How to Become More Courageous and How to Have More Perseveranceare two of 12 modules from his flagship course called Ways to Improve Your Character...and  Everything Else. Each module features 12 video lessons to help you understand how you can develop your own character and a 64-page, full color guidebook with 30 exercises for improving your trait of gratitude.
